Back to school!

We all feel rested and ready to go. Ok, maybe not all of us but Alex is never ready for school.

It is such a nice day out. I can't wait until they are done so we can head outside. It is so nice to be able to just go outside and not have a long list of chores that need to be done. The only thing we had to do to get the outside ready for winter was pull up the flowers we planted in the back, and the lawn guy (Joey) even offered to do it for us.

I messed my back up over the weekend, so spent most of yesterday on the couch popping Advil. It feels better today, but still hurts. Not sure how I did it, but I'm sure I'll do it again. lol

Christian insisted on making dinner last night. I swear that kid needs to become a Chef. He made the best quiche. Better than mine. For a long time he said he was going to be a Chef but then he decided he didn't want to "go into the family business." Can't say I blame him, really. Ethan wants to be a Chef though, so I think Christian might decide to do it just to tick Ethan off. What are big brothers for, right??

The bug guy was here this morning. Last night there was a ginormous spider in the hallway. I swear, the thing was as long as my finger and had these fang looking things. It was so big I woke Marty - who had to be to work at 5am - up to kill it. I walked to the office this morning to ask if a) there are poisonous spiders in Michigan (I'm from Ohio so had no clue) and b) If I find something to spray, would it interfere with that the bug guy sprays. Turns out the bug guy was here, so he came and sprayed inside for me. He said it was probably a wood spider. I think it was an evil, life sucking, child eating, work of Beelzebub spider... but what do I know?

**Another Pumpkin Chunker Update**
I want my garage back!!! That is all.
